Enchanted Kingdom introduces Evangeli-tainment this Holiday Season

Santa Rosa, Laguna (November 2011) --- Enchanted Kingdom, the home of magical experiences and Evangeli-tainment (evangelism and entertainment), brings an old tradition inside its magical walls this season of love and giving.
 
In the spirit of the holidays, the first and only world-class theme park presents the holy journey of Joseph and Mary to Bethlehem through the “Journey of Love and Hope”. The Journey of Love and Hope will be performed in and around the different zones and attractions of Enchanted Kingdom every weekend at 5:00 PM. IAAPA 2nd Vice Chair Mario O. Mamon elected as Asian Advisory Council Chairman

Santa Rosa, Laguna (November, 2011) --- Mr. Mario O. Mamon, Chairman and President of Enchanted Kingdom and 2^nd Vice Chair of The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions was recently elected as the association’s chairman of the Asian Advisory Council. The IAAPA Asian Advisory Council recommends direction and strategies on programs for Asian members and in expanding and enhancing the association’s plans and services in the region. 

Acknowledging Asia as the Next Big Destination, an impressive growth and progress are expected in the region’s amusement and attractions industry. And the record-breaking 2011 Asian Attractions’ Expo held last June in Singapore mirrors the significant potential of the business in Asia.

Mr. Mamon is the first Asian Executive to be named to the position of chairmanship. The current 2^nd Vice Chair post will soon elevate him to IAAPA Chairman in 2014. Also the President of the Philippine Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (PhilAAPA), Mr. Mamon is eyeing to sustain placing Asia in the world map of the Amusement and Attractions industry not only through the destinations but more importantly in the adoption of global safety standards and the development of the professionals in the region.

2nd Asian Sky Wizardry Fireworks Competition at Enchanted Kingdom

Enchanted Kingdom Launches EK Storybook and EK Musical CD

Santa Rosa, Laguna (October, 2011) --- Witness as the country’s world-class theme park, Enchanted Kingdom, unfolds the tale and the rhythm behind its spellbinding walls of magic. In celebration of their 16^th Anniversary this October, Enchanted Kingdom is proud to launch the EK Storybook and the EK Musical CD.

A prequel story of enchantment, the EK Storybook tells about the origin of the Enchanted Kingdom. The tale deals with the villain Maphista and her insatiable appetite for power and revenge. She plots on stealing the powerful amulet and the Enchanted Kingdom from Princess Victoria. The magical adventure and battle encompass with Maphista's downfall as the aftermath was brought along by the power unlocked from deep within Princess Victoria's own heart. Truly a legend of good versus evil marvelously celebrated.

From its magical beginnings comes the soothing rhythm of EK Musical CD. A seamless collection of Enchanted Kingdom theme songs, it features the carrier singles My Only You and I Love EK. Arranged by EK’s very own Musical Director Mr. Tats Faustino, the album is surely an enchanting ear-treat for everybody.

The EK Storybook and Musical CD will be available at all EK Souvenir Shops around the park on October 15.

Asian Sky Wizardry Fireworks Competition at Enchanted Kingdom

Santa Rosa, Laguna (October, 2011) --- Witness a flare of vibrant colors as Enchanted Kingdom, launches the Asian Sky Wizardry Fireworks competition in Santa Rosa, Laguna all Saturdays and Sundays of October.

 As part of its 16^th Anniversary celebration, the world-class theme park offers fireworks enthusiasts and park guests a bright spectacle filled with the bravado of local and foreign pyrotechnics as they vie for the championship. Families and friends can also enjoy the fireworks extravaganza along with the live musical entertainment of Enchanted Kingdom’s new jingle, “I Love EK”. 

 For the first week of the elimination rounds, local pyrotechnics from AL Fireworks of Cabuyao, Laguna and CPM Fireworks of Bulacan will compete with each other on Oct. 1 while Ni-Anne Fireworks of Bulacan and Emperor Fireworks of Batangas city will color the skies on Oct. 2.

 This is followed by colorful explosion of Anjsan Fireworks of Sibulan, Negros Oriental and Rejoice and Aira Fireworks of Bulacan on Oct. 8. JNM Pyrotechnics of Lemery, Batangas and DSS Fireworks of Dumaguete city is set on Oct. 9.

 The local elimination rounds will then be capped with the spectacular battle between Ding Fireworks of San Pablo, Laguna and VLU Fireworks of Cotabato city on Oct. 15 and Lebrilla Fireworks of Cabuyao, Laguna and Pyrohaven Fireworks of Bulacan on Oct. 16.

 Foreign competitors coming from China, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam will also showcase in this splendid battle of colors on Oct. 22 for the much awaited championship.
