Enchanted Kingdom celebrates Valentine’s Day with I ♥ EK 2.12.12 Hug-a-Palooza

 Enchanted Kingdom, the country’s premier and only world class theme park celebrated love and magic with I ♥ EK 2.12.12 Hug-a-Palooza last February 12, 2012.

Family, friends and couples were treated to a series of fun filled activities and surprises. DJ Jada and DJ H-Town from Wave 89.1 did the honors of kicking off the Hug-A-Palooza festivities at the Space Port. Prizes from Coca-Cola and Hershey's were awarded to lucky winners of fun games for the most number of barkada members and the couple wearing the best couple statement shirt! Guests were treated to excerpts of the Enchanté: The British Invasion by the EK Circle of Artists in celebration of the coming 2012 London Olympics to start the entertainment for the night. The EK Circle of Artists sang hits from Rick Astley, The Bee Gees, The Beatles, Spandau Ballet, The Police, Tom Jones, Jessie J, Jay Sean, Rod Stewart, Sugababes, The Eurythmics, Naked Eyes and Tears For Fears and many more. MYMP serenaded the guests with their famous love songs. Husbands and wives and couples got to feel the spirit of valentine’s as they sang with MYMP and relived their cherished moments with their partners. 

Enchanted Kingdom also launched The Music of Enchanted Kingdom CD where some of the performers sang the songs featured in the CD. Park guests sang and danced as they relived the tunes that brought back the experience of Enchanted Kingdom’s magic and entertainment.

Eldar the Wizard and Princess Victoria were joined by Mr. Mario O. Mamon, EK’s CEO, and Mrs. Cynthia R. Mamon, EK’s COO, to host the Hug-A-Palooza. Mr. and Mrs. Mamon both gave inspiring and lovely words to park guests. A countdown was initiated which gave excitement to this once a year event. In spite of the weather it was raining hugs all over Enchanted Kingdom. Warm hugs were shared among love ones and friends as the Mamon family gave away Hersheys Nuggets and I ♥ EK button pins to the audience that spread sweetness and love to park guests. To tone down the night, Ian Jacinto and the Siblings went up the stage to give park guests soothing and relaxing music. Enchanted Kingdom sure knows to spread magic with a sprinkle of love.
